Our wedding! <3 Photo by RedSheep Photo Cinema
We’re Owen and Nikka — husband and wife, and the photographers behind every image on this site. We’ve been together longer than we’ve had cameras in our hands, and far longer than we ever imagined we’d be doing this for a living.
We started in photography the way most people do: as a hobby. Baguio makes it easy. The light here does things. We traveled on cheap airfare and even cheaper hotels, eating our way through places we barely planned for — and somewhere in all of that, we developed an eye, not just for beautiful things, but for real ones.
Wedding photography came later, almost by accident. We’ve been shooting weddings since 2015, and over a decade in, the work still excites us.
What we believe about wedding photos
A great wedding photo doesn’t just show you what happened. It brings back how it felt — the nervous exhale before the doors open, the way your person looks at you when they think no one’s watching, your lola laughing so hard she’s covering her face. That’s what we’re after. Always.
We don’t engineer moments. We find what’s already there and we hold on to it.
Who we are, behind the camera
We’ve planned our own wedding. We’ve fretted over budgets and headcounts and weather apps at 2am. We know what it’s like to be on your side of this. That empathy doesn’t leave us on the job — it’s why our couples tend to feel at ease quickly, and why that ease shows up in the photos.
We’re also parents now, which has quietly changed everything about how we value time — ours and yours. We show up prepared. We don’t waste your day.
Where we shoot
We’re based in Baguio City, and Baguio will always be home base. The pine trees, the mountains, the fog creeping in — we never get tired of photographing here.
But we’ve shot in Batanes, Ilocos, La Union, Batangas, Cebu, Siquijor — and we will happily follow you wherever you’re getting married. We love to travel for work. We live for destination weddings.
A note for couples planning their wedding
Plan everything you can now. On the day, let go. The best photos come from couples who are too busy being happy to think about the camera. Trust your suppliers. Trust each other. Trust us.
We’d love to be part of your day.
